1. About Us

Anna Maria Travels & Tours is a travel agency established in 1983, based in Kochi, Kerala, India. We provide bespoke travel services including holiday packages, flight bookings, hotel reservations, visa assistance, safari arrangements, travel insurance, and tour guiding between India and Africa.

2. Bookings and Confirmation

• All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed upon receipt of a deposit or full payment as required.
• A booking confirmation will be issued via email or WhatsApp once payment is received.
• It is your responsibility to ensure that all traveller details provided are accurate and match official travel documents.
• We reserve the right to decline a booking at our discretion.

3. Payments

• Prices quoted are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated and are subject to change until a booking is confirmed.
• A deposit of 25–50% may be required at the time of booking, with the balance due as specified in your booking confirmation.
• All payments must be made through authorised channels as communicated by our team.
• We are not responsible for any bank charges, exchange rate fluctuations, or transaction fees incurred by the client.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

• 61+ days before travel: Full refund minus a non-refundable booking service fee.
• 31–60 days before travel: 50% refund of the total booking value.
• 15–30 days before travel: 25% refund of the total booking value.
• 14 days or less: No refund. All payments are forfeited.
• Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or WhatsApp.
• Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 14 business days.
• Deposits for airline tickets are non-refundable once issued.

5. Changes to Bookings

Requests to amend a confirmed booking must be made in writing. We will endeavour to accommodate changes, subject to availability and any additional costs from airlines, hotels, or service providers. An amendment fee may apply.

6. Travel Documents and Visas

• It is the client's responsibility to ensure they hold a valid passport with at least 6 months validity beyond the travel date.
• While we offer visa assistance services, the granting of any visa is entirely at the discretion of the relevant embassy or government authority. We do not guarantee visa approval.
• Clients are responsible for obtaining all required vaccinations and meeting any health entry requirements for their destination.

7. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance prior to travel, covering cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, baggage loss, and trip interruption. We are not liable for any losses arising from the failure to obtain adequate insurance.

8. Limitation of Liability

Anna Maria Travels & Tours acts as an agent for airlines, hotels, safari operators, and other service providers. We are not liable for:

• Any loss, injury, damage, or inconvenience arising from services provided by third parties.
• Flight delays, cancellations, or schedule changes made by airlines.
• Force majeure events including natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, or acts of government.
• Loss of personal belongings or travel documents during the trip.

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total amount paid to us for the booking in question.

9. Health and Safety

Clients travel at their own risk. We advise clients to consult their physician before travel to Africa and to follow all health advisories issued by their government and the destination country. Some experiences (e.g. shark diving, walking with lions) carry inherent risks and participation is entirely at the client's own risk.

10. Website Use

The content on this website is provided for informational purposes only. We reserve the right to update or remove content at any time. Unauthorised reproduction of any content from this website is prohibited.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kochi, Kerala, India.
